Shree Bharath Vidyaashram Roller Skating Championships - Feb'24
This was Kevin and Adele's very first skating competition! Until now, they had only practiced on flat rinks in the park, so we knew that skating on banked rinks at Nehru Stadium was going to be a new challenge for them. We took them there after peak hours, which was great because we had the entire rink to ourselves! At first, they were a bit nervous and even took a few tumbles, but soon enough, they really started to get the hang of it.On the big day at the Gerugambakkam rink, the beginner events were held on a nice flat inner rink. This was a fantastic boost for their confidence, and we were all thrilled when they won Gold medals in their events!
